Janet Garcia  is a contemporary traditional and digital artist who was born in Puerto Rico, where she studied drawing and painting with artist AndrĂ©s Bueso. Since she was young, she felt passionate towards art; drawing and painting with oils, acrylics, pastel and ink.

Janet M Garcia

I moved to U.S.A. in 1986. Since that time, I have been working with computers and have rendered desktop publishing services and design to several religious and commercial entities. I have also worked in the design of covers for CDs, DVDs, newsletter production, and website design and deployment for Christian ministries and churches as well as in the production of video presentations.

With the evolution of computers and software, I felt it was time to merge my God given skills as a natural media artist with my other skills and knowledge in computers.  Since then, I have been creating beautiful Traditional Fine Arts and Digital Paintings (original digital fine arts painted by hand, without the use of any computer automated filters or scripts) following the same techniques learned as a natural media artist, but instead of using a brush, she uses a Stylus Pen and a Digitizing Display/Tablet (Wacom) to create her beautiful Digital Fine Arts.

In this website, you will be able to see samples of both Digital and Traditional Portraits and other subject matter.
